The Sawbridgeworth Angling Society membership application process stipulates that membership shall firstly be offered to individuals from the waiting list who meet the following criteria: –

Residency within the geographic areas of Sawbridgeworth, High Wych, Hatfield Heath, Spellbrook, Matching Tye, Allens Green, Sheering, Great & Little Hallingbury, and Hatfield Broad Oak.

In the event that spare memberships become available after this process, individuals residing outside of these areas may, subject to Committee approval, enjoy the privileges of membership through the purchase of an Associate Membership card, although they will not have voting rights or the right to retain the society’s trophies.

It is worth noting that membership runs from 16th June to June 15th, and new memberships will only be offered once a year as the new season commences.
